CryoPaint is an advanced Passive Daytime Radiative Cooling (PDRC) paint that lowers surface temperatures up to 15°F below the air temperature, even in direct sunlight.
This CryoPaint quart is for small projects or to round off a large one.

Stunning results. CryoX advertises 15 degrees. I saw over 30 and have youtube videos that show it. Even more of a delta after 2nd coat. Crazy results, 30 degrees. I just did a 3x3 with the small bottle. A gallon is en route right now and I am excited to see what it does to the inside of the RV with those results on the roof.
I tested the paint on a ceramic tile. The effect is astonishing. The surface temperature stayed close to the ambiet temperature and 15-20°C below the reference temperature of an unpainted ceramic tile (clear sky). In the teststand the backside of the ceramic tile is isolated with 6cm PIR-insulation. The backside temperature of the tile was measured with PT1000 sensors and a putty with high heat transfer.
CryoX paint effectively reduced the surface temperature by 8–10°C, enabling me to implement a radiative-cooling-based electric power generation system using TEG elements attached to the underside of a CryoX-coated plate. The system successfully generated electricity both day and night under clear skies as well as partially cloudy conditions. Even with light cloud cover, power generation continued to occur. In addition to the product's outstanding performance, I was impressed by the excellent technical support, professional consultancy, and fast delivery. Highly recommended.
This stuff is really amazing. I don’t understand how it actually feels cooler to the touch than the surrounding temps. Science. I will definitely be applying this to other projects soon. The auto test seems to be holding up well this season and the dune buggy and trailer and RV are all being considered. Great potentially energy saving product in this desert environment. I’m getting very curious as to what it can do for the airconditioning energy use. Probably do at least partial trailer next Spring and can begin comparing summer savings.
